German industrial production rebounds 0.7% m/m in February, beats estimates
Industrial production in Germany stalled its run of declines and staged an upturn in February, the official data showed on Friday; calming fears of a slowdown in Europe's largest economy.
Output rose 0.7% m/m, the federal statistics authority Destatis said in figures adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects - well past a 0.5% rebound expected and -0.8% last.
On an annualized basis, the German industrial production arrived at -0.4% versus -3.3% booked in January.
