US: Housing starts jump 22.7% in November

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - US housing starts jumped 22.7% in November to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.091 million, the highest rate since February 2008, according to data provided by the Commerce Department. This reading exceeds the 0.950 million expected by analysts.

Meanwhile, building permits fell 3.1% in November to an annual rate of 1.007 million.
