LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a rise in the inventory levels of Copper and Nickel, while the stock levels of Aluminium, Zinc and Lead declined today.

Copper stocks increased by 4775 tonnes, while nickel stocks witnessed an increase of 444 tonnes. On the other hand, lead stock were marginally down by 25 tonnes, whereas aluminium and zinc inventories got subtracted by a whopping 6575 and 3300 tonnes respectively.

EUR/GBP nears 2-month lows

The single currency extended its long run of losses against the British pound today and drifted close to two-month lows mainly on the Euro weakness.
