Monthly Canadian GDP to register solid gain - RBS
FXStreet (Bali) - Monthly GDP in Canada is released today, and according to RBS, is expected to register a solid gain.
Key Quotes
"Monthly GDP in Canada is released, which is expected to register a solid gain (consensus +0.3% m/m). Fewer auto plants have closed for retooling in July than normal, which may boost seasonally adjusted growth. The trade surplus in July rose to a multi-year large and manufacturing sales advanced by the most since 2011 in July. While we still see scope for continued USD/CAD upside, we are more positive on CAD on the crosses, including AUD/CAD and NZD/CAD, amid a North American regional growth outperformance."
