Forex Flash: AUD to catch its breath - Societe Generale

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Olivier Korber, FX Strategist at Societe Generale believes that AUD is set to catch its breath.

He feels that the risk reward for tactical AUD/USD longs is now high. He writes, “The RBA cut is digested (no chance of a cut at the next meeting), carry remains large, Australian exports and metal prices are recovering, and the risk backdrop now has limited influence. Finally, the technical picture is especially compelling (timing).”
